Exhale AoIR
Just got back from Toronto – 6:30am flight.
Exhausted, but very satisfied. Paper went well enough (more later). Got to meet some fantastic people (including fellow bloggers Kathleen and Liz), saw some thought-provoking panels, and hung out with a few old and new friends. Rad.
Now, to recover.
a.f.k.

Welcome back, Jason. Would have loved to have heard your paper in person, but thanks to a dedicated group of bloggers, I was able to get it in digest form. Looks like you know who to call on to write the dustjacket blurbs for your first book . . .
Sounds like a great conference. Based on other people’s entries regarding your paper, it also sounds like you presented some pretty interesting work.
Liz says you’re wonderful. Wish I’d gone.
It was great fun all around. Really enjoyed getting to meet the blogging crowd (although somehow I missed Brandon of texturl, to my disappointment).
Weez – Wish you were there as well. But then, if you were, that 5 bucks I paid Liz to say nice things about me wouldn’t have done much good 😉
dude.
i thoroughly enjoyed your paper and think it should be sent out as is. what a ball to hear good ideas.
i dug the whole conference but i think the highlight was late that night, toasting you and lisa with iole and a decent glass of wine.
Was great to see you David. And, as I said before, Iole is wonderful.
