I&#8217;ve read the work (and blogs) of many others.  And I was really looking forward to having an excuse to finish my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamesconference.org\/2003\/index.php?Abstracts\/Rhody\">paper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t found much blogging about the conference yet, so if you see any details, please post the URL in the comments.<\/p>\n<p><b>EDIT:<\/b> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamesconference.org\/2003\/index.php?Abstracts\/Chee%2C+et+al.\">Florence Chee&#8217;s paper<\/a> made it into a <a href=\"http:\/\/story.news.yahoo.com\/news?tmpl=story&#038;cid=569&#038;ncid=738&#038;e=1&#038;u=\/nm\/20031104\/tc_nm\/tech_videogames_addiction_dc\">Reuter&#8217;s story (link via Yahoo!)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the paper is about addiction to Everquest.  The press loves this stuff. Heck, even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oprah.com\/plugger\/templates\/BeOnTheShow.jhtml?action=respond&#038;plugId=B75500004\">Oprah loves it!<\/a>.  The article mentions the &#8220;world&#8217;s first interdisciplinary games conference&#8221; (which I think is slightly inaccurate, but whatever), but fails to mention Level Up! by name.  The only reason I made the connection?
